My Journey & Philosophy
My name is Tessa Riedinger; my path to bodywork was years in the making. At 20, I dreamed of going to massage school, but life had other plans, and the timing wasn't right. Years later-as a mother with a family and renewed purpose, and inspired by my husband's own graduation from massage therapy- I knew it was time to finally pursue my calling.
What drives me every day is the puzzle of human anatomy and kinesiology. I love understanding how the body moves, identifying tension/holding patterns, and seeing the tangible, visible relief clients experience when they step off the table.
The Meaning Behind The Name
Tessellation Therapeutics is a play on my name, Tessa, and the concept of tessellations, or geometric patterns that fit together seamlessly. The human body functions much the same way: a collection of intricate, interconnected systems-from fascial webs to lymphatic flow- meant to move in harmony. When one piece falls out of alignment, or carries stress, the whole pattern shifts. My goal is to integrate science with intentional touch to help bring your body back into balance.

What to Expect During Your Session
Every session begins with a conversation. We'll discuss how you're feeling, your goals, areas you'd like addressed, and anything you'd like me to know so your treatment can be tailored to you. Throughout your massage, communication is always encouraged. Pressure, positioning, focus areas, and techniques can be adjusted based on your comfort and how your body responds. I bring the professional massage table, linens, and supplies needed for your treatment, so you can simply settle in. After your session, we'll take a moment to check in and, when appropriate, I'll offer simple recommendations to support your body's mobility, relaxation, or recovery between sessions.
Before your first appointment, you'll be asked to complete a brief Client Intake Form. This allows me to learn more about you and helps me prepare for your personalized session.
